Exploding balloons
Before the shower, select several baby names and print each on small slips of
paper. Inflate the balloons partially and put one slip into each. Fully inflate
the balloons. To play this game at the baby shower, mom-to-be announces her
favorite baby name. The guests now have to locate the slip of paper with that
name printed. The only way to do it - explode the balloons by sitting on them!
This is a fun, noisy game that's great for getting guests talking to each other.

What did she say?!
Warning: This free game idea is to be played only if mom-to-be isn't offended by
it! Don't worry, it's not that serious! :) Have someone discreetly write / print
down everything mom-to-be says while gifts are being opened. Remarks like, "Ooh,
that's so sweet!", "Isn't this so cute?" After gifts are opened, announce that
whatever mommy-to-be said just then was what she also said on the night of
conception! Read out her remarks. Every one of them will take on a 'special'
meaning! Good fun - if mommy is ok with this baby shower game!
Words from the wise
Another hilarious game for baby showers. Have a stack of 3 X 5 cards handy. Ask
each guest to write down one baby related question on one side of a card.
Questions like "what will you do when baby has colic?" Shuffle all the cards up.
Hand them back to the guests at random and ask them to write down some free
advice about their original question on the reverse of the card. Read out each
question-answer combination! Great game for laughs at baby showers!
It's best to come up with your own creative games for baby showers. Or mix up
